About Ms. Belle
Hello! My name is Ms. Belle. I will be your art teacher this year. I am so excited to meet you and for all of us to dive into our imaginations and creativity. This is my first year teaching art. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Concept Design. This means I studied character and costume design work. I worked in a cosplay shop, physically building some of them. I started teaching in Thailand during the pandemic. Then I moved to Washington and eventually began working as an assistant teacher at Spokane International Academy. I am getting my teaching certification from Whitworth University here in Spokane.
We are going to make some amazing art this year, and we are going to have so much fun! That being said art is work. Creativity can be hard. It takes 10,000 hours to master a skill. Lets get started!
About Ms. Emily
Hi,
I’m Miss. Emily and I will be your co-teachers for the art club with Ms. Belle. My hobbies are going to see movies, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Some fun facts about me are that I have a cat named Izzy and I’ve been to 4 countries. I have been to Puerto Vallarta, Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid. In these countries, I saw phenomenal art and can’t wait to tell you all about it. We are both so excited to help you grow with your art skills and express your creativity. I have always loved art because of the way it allows me to be creative and express myself. I might not be the best artist, but that’s ok. I have a secre,t silly drawing I always do so I can’t wait to show you! This club is all about figuring out your styles and strengths. I’m excited to be all of your biggest cheerleader in your journey with art. This is my second year at SIA and my second year as a kindergarten IA. I’m sure I have seen all of you in the hallways and look forward to getting to know all of you better. I’m also excited to get started and so many fun different art projects, and seeing your interpretations of all the different art styles. So happy you have decided to join this club and can’t wait to see your growth!
