Artists and artworks that  inspire me.

In art we beg, borrow, and steal. We might take inspiration from the line width of one piece and the color from another. This is how we learn.   Never reinvent the wheel.  If you like one artist's use of shape language use it!

Pernille Orum

I love this artists' use of simplified shapes! Her use of color is amazing as well. She did not work on Kpop Demon Hunters but I loved her Rumi!

I have followed this artist for years. I found her on pintrest over a decade ago. I love the emotion in her art and the sence of movement. She is well know for her Percy Jackson fanart.

Atlantis The Lost Emire

The artwork in this film is absolutely stunning. From the character designs to the backgrounds, it is breathtaking. The color scheme moves from very blue to red in the last act.

Jacob Romeo

He was my main proffessor in art school. His style is fun and a mit whimsical at times. His focus is on character design with a story telling aspect

Gabriel Picolo

He is a comic book artist best known for his Teen Titans illistations. I love how he draws the every day interaction of the Teen Titans. I grew up with the original T.V. show and his art is all very nestalgic.
